Revisiting 2016 - My Achievements & My Failures!

2016 has been a great year for me with several good and bad things! 

As the year is coming to an end, I thought of doing a quick rewind into my life and understand what I contributed and learnt! I just made a list of things related to my career . I am not going into my personal life much as the list would be much more :) 

 Started with  a motor accident on Dec 31st 2015. I broke my shoulder. Hospitalized for a week and was on sling for the next 3 months!  Despite that I love the period because that was when I started my dream project! 

My Achievements and Successes! 

1. Pitched for incubation at NASSCOM with a sling in my hand and Two of my girls as my team members. Now my team size is 9 ! Worked towards building an idea,  a concept which was born out of a big failure in 2015.
2.  Launched www.T4Trainer.com in April 2016.
3. Attended UNCTAD Empretec Certification in April . Came back with renewed vision about entrepreneurship and got selected as a Programme Facilitator for India!
4. Organised  regular trainer meetups during the next few months. Also, Anchored regular Business meets as a host. 
5.  Launched T4T Academy in July 2016
6. Spoke to over 2000 students in various campuses about Employability and Entrepreneurship. 
7. Launched www.Trainopedia.in in August 2016
8. Completed Graduate Certificate course in Career Education under scholarship from Govt of Victoria, Australia and became one the top 10 Master Trainers for India.  
9. Published my first ever Book chapter in Human Capital and Employability and presented my research work on Soft skills Perceptions of Employers.
10.  Acquired over 20 new clients for my business and while I near the end of the year, we are looking forward to get our big project.
11.  Formed a great team of people who are equally enthusiastic about the company and its vision! 
12. Hosted several business meets and over 120 radio shows 

My Failed Goals | Learning

1. Hired wrong people | team and lost money

2. Tried to do many things at same time and lost in all

3. Worked on projects which never gave any money!

4. Lost some good opportunity due to lack of planning and time management

5. Failed projects include: Founders Tribe and CPT

6. Couldn’t save money as intended

7. Couldn’t go for an international tour

8. Couldn’t complete targets of revenue for my company

9. Couldn’t buy some things that I wanted

10. Got black marks from some clients because I overlooked the execution

Well, the year has been  a mixed one! The best part is that I always had fun doing what I loved ! Looking forward for 2017 for more of fun ,excitement, learning and contribution !
