Two weeks back , I had a slightly long travel in Train. Had my mobile camera...took some interesting snaps.. Picture speaks louder than words...So.. here they are..

Cleaning Car of Railways- The man driving this vehicle is mopping the platform with water. The waste water is then dispossed into the track. (who said our railways is not "hi-fi" ?)
The Long bridge over Godavari river which has Roadways on top and railways in the middle of the bridge. Even in the so called rural Andhra Pradesh , we can see such high tech constructions!

ReplyDeletethanks for those lovely photos...in fact those ignited some nostalgic feelings in me. We used to travel to achan's workplace in north india during school summer vacations....Those trips were longed for for the whole year...still cherish those sights from rural india...while the train stopped at outer station areas, it was fun watching people with different languages, different dresses, doing different things....! thank u very much...!
